No trade is as demanding on its tools as the plastering trade. Many plastering tools look the same, but the OX range has been tried and tested by tradesmen and offers unmatched quality.

The OX finishing trowel is a masterpiece of perfection with pre-worn edges to eliminate line and ripple marks and a premium quality steel blade for durability. The lightweight aluminum shank is fully riveted for strength and the handle is set for perfect balance. With a soft grip handle for extreme comfort and the perfect weight, balance and feel this plastering trowel is fast becoming recognized as an essential tool for every processional plasterer. The blade is made of high quality stainless or carbon steel and has a slightly curve so it is ready to use immediately.

OX plasterers trowels are available in 11”, 14” and 18” sizes with a smaller 8” version named as a ‘small trowel’ now also added to the range.

The OX pipe trowel is used for working plaster or cement behind pipes or other difficult to reach places and has an extended high quality stainless steel blade. The OX margin trowel has a flat rectangular precision tapered ground blade and is made from a high grade carbon steel.

The aluminum hawk is one of the most highly used plasterers tools and needs to be able to stand up to high usage.  The OX hawk is made of a premium tempered aluminum blade for long life and has a machined surface on the blade to prevent mortar from sliding off. The handle is formed from a sponge rubber for comfort and to prevent blisters.

Both internal and external dry wall corner trowels are included in the extensive OX range and are made with flexible stainless steel blades, with strong aluminum mounting and a soft grip handle.

A harling trowel is quite a specialist tool used t0 throw pebbles onto mortar when pebble dashing. This also comes with the sift grip handle which sets the OX range apart from the competition.

OX small tools are stocked in three different sizes (13mm, 16mm and 19mm) and are made from a high quality carbon steel, are one piece forged and precision ground and tempered.

Also included in the range are professional taping knives and joint knives which have flexible stainless steel blades, built in hammer ends and soft grip handles for comfort. The OX taping knife has a strong aluminum back and will last for years.

Other products are available in the extensive OX plastering range including polyurethane floats and hawks, sponge floats, combined feather edges and straight edges, hand sanders, pole sanders and mixing paddles. The mixing paddles are chrome plated with durable, high quality steel and a hex shaft which sets them at a different performance level form the many types available on today’s market.
